Hollybank Achieves Bronze, Silver and Gold Accreditation for Person-Centred Dementia Care
We are incredibly proud to share that Hollybank has received Bronze, Silver and Gold level accreditation through the Progress for Providers programme, recognising our commitment to delivering personalised support for older people and those living with dementia.
As a team, we have worked hard to understand the challenges people with dementia face and what truly matters to them. This accreditation reflects our focus on people, not tasks — supporting quality of life, choice, dignity, and wellbeing every day.
Progress for Providers recognises care homes that use person-centred approaches, working closely with residents and families to ensure care is shaped around the individual. Achieving all three levels is something we are extremely proud of and is a real credit to our dedicated staff team.

Hollybank Wins Residential Care Home of the Year – North Wales
We are delighted to share that Hollybank has been named Residential Care Home of the Year – North Wales in the Wales Prestige Awards.
After being shortlisted, we were selected as the overall winner, with judges praising our team’s personal touch, strong community feel, and our online and social media activity.
This award reflects the dedication of our staff, the warmth of our residents, and the continued support of families and the wider community. We are extremely proud of everyone who makes Hollybank such a special place.
🌟 Care Home Open Week 16th - 22nd June! 🌟
We are delighted to announce our participation in 'Care Home Open Week', an annual event to bring the community into care homes and provide an insight into the exceptional care you can expect.
Our doors will be open, and we warmly welcome you, your family, friends of residents, and the local community to join us. There will be a range of events and activities each day, so we hope you can visit! 🎉
This year, we're also fundraising for a cause that means a lot to us — the Asthma + Lung UK charity 💙🫁. Respiratory conditions often don’t get the spotlight they deserve, and we're passionate about supporting the vital work this charity does.
🎯 Our target is £8,000 and we’re so close — currently at £6,800!

👉 We’re looking for donations to help with our tombola and raffle — whether it’s a small gift, voucher, or prize, it would mean the world. Every little helps towards this brilliant cause.

Care Home Open Week Schedule at Hollybank:
- Monday 16th – Visit from St Ethelwold’s School at 11:00 AM
- Tuesday 17th – Asthma & Lung Fundraiser featuring a Musical Quiz and Bingo
- Wednesday 18th – Hollybank Party with Jane & Phil and the Ice Cream Van at 1:00 PM
- Thursday 19th – Performance by Joe Johnson (Entertainer) at 2:00 PM
- Friday 20th – Trip to Greenacres Farm Park from 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM
- Saturday 21st – Rest Day
- Sunday 22nd – Creative Mojo Art Session at 2:00 PM
