VE Day Commemmoration Weekend
Our residents actively participated in various activities to honour this deeply meaningful day. Our staff thoughtfully prepared historical literature for residents and their families to read together, accompanied by vibrant decorations, bunting, and red, white, and blue balloons that adorned the entire home. Thanks to the beautiful sunshine, we were also able to enjoy part of the celebration outdoors, including a delightful British tea. (8th May 2024)

Grand National
🏇🎉 Our residents had fun tuning into the Grand National today! 🏆 Congratulations to our in-house winners: Val clinched 1st place🥇followed by Pat in 2nd🥈Ian in 3rd🥉 and Jean in 4th! They've all earned some fantastic prizes but best of all, had a lot of fun! 🏅🏵️ (13th April 2024)
Donna and 'Vinnie' Visit
Today, we had the pleasure of hosting Donna and her friend Vinnie for a delightful performance that brought joy to both residents and staff. Vinnie's charm certainly captivated our residents, as you can tell from the photos! A big thank you to Donna Lloyd Ventriloquism and Vinnie for bringing smiles to our faces. We thoroughly enjoyed your visit! (4th April 2024)

Easter Joy
🐰🌷🐣 Easter joy has hopped into Hollybank! The Easter Bunny has arrived to deliver heaps of cheer. Our residents and staff are bursting with excitement for the upcoming Easter weekend! 🎉🍫
Day Trip to Gordale
🌿👵 Our residents really enjoyed their visit to Gordale Garden Centre! 🌼🌱 Outings like these play a vital role in day to day life keeping our residents active, promoting social interaction, and allows them to reconnect with the outdoors. We all especially enjoyed a nice sit down in the cafe together! 🌺🌿

Pancake Day
🥞👩🍳 Our lovely resident Emily enjoyed helping in the kitchen for Pancake Day yesterday. 🤤🥞 Hollybank is a 'home from home' and residents are encouraged to participate in activities that makes them happy. Thank you Emily, your pancakes were delicious! 😋
Bowling Day
10th February 2024 - Our residents enjoyed a fantastic day of Ten Pin Bowling at Cheshire Oaks! Laughter echoed through the lanes as everyone had a blast. After a few goes to get the hang of it, there were even a couple of strikes! It was an incredibly enjoyable day for everyone involved. Such activities are vital for the well-being of both residents and staff, and we're thrilled to share these moments with you today.
